About Me

Hi! I’m Oğuz Kağan Hitit, an M.S. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UCLA. I work with Prof. Aydoğan Özcan in the Ozcan Lab on machine-learning-integrated lens-free imaging.

Previously, I worked with Prof. Zeynep Akata at Helmholtz Munich and the Technical University of Munich, studying constructive interference and benchmarking model-merging methods for large language models. I continue to work with Assoc. Prof. Aykut Erdem at the KUIS AI Center on generative image models, diffusion-based architectures, and identity-preserving style transfer.

Earlier in my academic career, I worked with Prof. Vivek Goyal at Boston University, developing probabilistic methods for improving resolution and mitigating noise in particle-beam microscopy.

Beyond research, I am a co-founder of Leagle, a legal technology startup developing specialized LLM-powered agents and software for automating legal workflows.
